ComoParkSenior High School is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, just east of ComoPark near the intersection of Maryland and Grotto. The school, which opened in 1956 as a junior high, became a high school in 1979. The LMC was renovated in 1992 when a third conference room and a spacious reading rotunda were added.
With over 18,000 materials,
Como's LMC serves nearly 1,400 culturally-diverse students and 130 staff members. The library has 16 computers and is adjacent to a computer lab that holds another 60. Other technology includes Como's intra-school electronic bulletin board, which is televised throughout the school, and is managed from the LMC office.
Como LMC's online catalog can easily be accessed by entering library.spps.org in the internet address bar of any SPPS computer, and selecting "ComoParkHigh School" from the resulting list of schools. Students may then search Como's collection.
