1. How do I know which counselor is my counselor?
Counselors are assigned by student’s last name:

    * Ms. Molly McCurdy: student last names beginning with A-F

    * Ms. Jamie Knutson: student last names beginning with G-L

    * Mr. Rick Walker: student last names beginning with M-S

    * Ms. Paula Sweeney: student last names beginning with T-Z

2. How do I meet with my counselor?
Counselors will see students throughout the school day.  You can stop by the Guidance Office before or after school, or schedule an appointment with Sandi Smith (CRC) to see your Counselor.

3. Can I change my schedule?
Students and parents were encouraged last spring to select courses carefully.  Class sections were created and textbooks were purchased based on selections students made.  Therefore, schedule changes are strongly discouraged and are made based on the following reasons only:

  • Improper course level
  • Course conflicts
  • Documented severe health issues
  • Seniors needing a course for graduation.

Please ask your counselor for a Schedule Change Request Form if any of the above criteria applies to you.

4. Am I on track to graduate?
Counselors will send letters home in the fall and spring to all seniors updating their graduation status.  Juniors will also receive a letter in the fall about their credit status.  If you do not know your credit status, please see your Counselor.

5. How do I request an official transcript?

Official Transcripts cost $2.00.
If you are a current student, you can request an official transcript from your Counselor.

If you are a former student, please contact the main office at (651) 293-8800, ext. 0.

6. What do I need to take to graduate?

7. How will the change to quarters in the 2008-2009 school year affect me?

For year-long classes the change is minor.  Instead of being given final grades two times a year, students will receive final grades and credits four times a year.  Quarters will be around nine weeks in length. Semester long class will be offered in two consecutive quarters.  You will receive two final grades, one at the end of each quarter.
